Guest guest
It could be yeast I think or I have read that a burning mouth is sometimes a symptom of dairy and gluten sensitivities. Hope you get it fixed as you must not be very comfortable. I don't have time tonight but maybe if you open www.google.com and do a search for " burning mouth gluten " you might find something. Guest guest
I have a burning mouth also and never an explanation. I wonder if it is our entire mucous membrane system? Do you ever get constipated or have diarrhea? Lona http://tahomagirl.com I have tried to stay : on the oxalate free diet with no affect either. Since a burning mouth : is also a symptom that goes along with vulvodynia I would appreciate : hearing from anyone that may have similar mouth feelings. :

Guest guest
I get a raw burning mouth all the time. It will be red, or else I get cankersores and occasionally cold sores. If you are not seeing any sores or anything in your mouth though, It might be thrush. Bunny /| |\ . . Guest guest
It's been a while since I've been on but I just finished reading everyones mail on this subject. I jsut want to let everyone know that they make sure that their dental hygiene is up to par. Believe it or not, if you have anything going on with your teeth it can effect many parts of the body. Last year I had this terrible rash on the torso of my body, couldn't figure out where it came from. So I saw a dr. he gave prednisone to eliminate the itching, shortly after that ran out, the side of my mouth and head started hurting really bad. Turned out that I had a badly infected tooth, ending up with a root canal. Right after that the rash went away and hasn't returned since. I too am experiencing this burning/raw feeling in my mouth as well on and off. Don't know what it is yet, but I have heard that you can eat ice cream, milk, jello, things that won't irritate it. I also heard that when you are in menopause that your immune system can be effected and if that's the case, that is what can allow all these things to be happening. --- Lona wrote: > I have a burning mouth also and never an > explanation.
