Guest guest
Has anyone tried tumeric or yucca which are supposed to be natural anti inflammatories? Wonder if it would work for VV? I am trying that from my TMJ which has hit me with a vengeance. Lona I remember reading ofa doc, regular doc who was getting fabulous results using natural anti-inflammatories for vv patients...one she used is turmeric. ALSO, many holistic docs, chiros, and holistic MD's are using ultra-inflamX, calms down any kind of inflammation, pain/IBS etc...heard fab results from others, it is a drink, quercetin, turmeric, glutamine(great for food allergies and leaky gut) some vitamins(not huge amounts), and other things...just bought some, it is in a rice base so good for allergies, my body never much liked rice though, so we'll see. Guest guest
Lona, Turmeric has been used as far back as my great-grandmother in India. My mom also gave it to me in the US when I had sore throats and coughing. It works amazingly. We were even able to prevent it from getting full blown when we took it the day we felt that it was coming on. My mom used to also apply it on the outside too when we had a stomach ache. It was mixed with something else and it did wonders. I did not think about trying it for vv until I read this book, " The Pain Cure. " I highly recommend turmeric though - it's not just some weird herbal cure! Also, I did read that dried ginger is good. I don't know if you get that here - we always get it from India, but I think my mom said you can dry the ginger in the sun. Hopw it works for your TMJ and VV! Seema > Ok Girls. Anyways, I am going to try tumeric. Let you know how it goes. Love, Ruth > Ok Girls. Has anyone tried tumeric or yucca which are supposed to be > natural anti inflammatories? Guest guest
I used a splint, too, it didn't do squat. It might be a nerve problem, like for me, I think my wisdom teeth were 'crushing' a nerve. How it gets better for you! Love, Ruth > Off and on for about ten years. I tried a splint, it didn't work.
