Guest guest
Suzanne, I am just starting to read Dr. Armand's book now. It is scary. I have never had any of the " classic " symtoms of FMS, but I really wonder now if I will developing it eventually. I had restless legs alot as a kid, and recently I have started to get eye irritation for no reason... How long have you been taking guai? Are you having the cycles of good and bad days? I'm curious to hear about the treatment... in SF > I have had severe vulvodynia for about 5 years now. It all started when I > was 18 and went on the pill. Guest guest
Suzanne, you said your vulvodynia started when you went on the pill. Have you ever stopped taking the pill to see if you got any relief? Ora On Sat, 01 Sep 2001 01:59:24 -0500, Suzanne Crossley wrote: >I have had severe vulvodynia for about 5 years now. Guest guest
Suzanne, I have Sogren's Syndrome, CFIDS, FMS and Vulvodynia. My psychiatrist suggested that I start taking FibroMalic which you can get at a GNC store. After about 3 weeks on it I could tell a really big difference. I do not have the intense soreness in my muscles that I had. My mother also has FMS and she takes Pycnogenol which you can get at most drugstores or Walmart, KMart. It really helped her alot. They are herbal type medications, so there is not much chance of any side effects. I hope you can find some relief. Jerri VV and FMS > I have had severe vulvodynia for about 5 years now. Guest guest
in SF, Just read your message to Suzanne about FM and restless legs. My whole family has restless legs, both of my parents had it too. Quite irritating isn't it? Is there a connection to FM and restless legs? What kind of eye irritation do you have? What are the early signs of FM? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks, Geraldine Re: VV and FMS > Suzanne, > I am just starting to read Dr. Armand's book now. It is scary. Guest guest
I have been on Guai for almost a year. I am on 3600mg a day. Which is considered a high dosage. I do not have cycles that I can tell except every so often I get this rash vaginally that itches very bad and burns. The docs say I dont have any infection so all I can contribute it to is the Guai and a cycle. I have it now actually. I have spoke with other women who experienced the same thing on Guai. I think the Guai helps..but I am not sure. All I know is that I have had sex 4 times this year and I had not had sex in 3.5 years before that. I have had maybe 1 good week (VV wise) since starting Guai the rest of the time is just like before. My FMS symptoms are exactly the same. I am staying on the Guai and am going to get mapped for the first time next Friday. Let me know if you start Guai and how you do. Take care, Suzanne Re: VV and FMS > Suzanne, > I am just starting to read Dr. Armand's book now. It is scary. Guest guest
Ora, I was only on the pill for 4 months, but apparently it was enough to get this crap started. Guest guest
Yeah, restless leg syndrome is really annoying, I had it all the time as a kid, not much anymore though. Restless legs and chronic eye irritation and VVS symptoms are some of the beginning signs of FMS, according to Dr. Armand, author of What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Fibromyalgia. His theory is FMS is caused by an inability of the body to correctly absorb and excrete phosphate, which is necessary for all cells to make energy. So taking guai according to him will let your body excrete all the excess phosphate built up over the years. I have no idea if I believe this, or if all of us have FMS and will develop it full blown eventually. It is interesting though. in SF > in SF, > Just read your message to Suzanne about FM and restless legs. My whole > family has restless legs, both of my parents had it too.
