Guest guest Posted November 3, 2007 Report Share Posted November 3, 2007 My dear husband has a keen sense of smell and finds lacto-fermented foods repulsive. After tolerating my switch to the NT lifestyle for about 18 months now, he has asked me to stop preparing and consuming anything that is fermented or cultured. He says my breath smells and that when he kisses me, he develops bad breath as well as a thick, choking mucus/drainage in the back of his throat. I, too, have experienced these things from time to time, but have attributed them to allergies. He is convinced that " live " foods are causing the problem. Has anyone else had this experience?
