Subject: I have no idea what to say.

Well, it seems we're back on line with yahoo now...

Ummm, I just opened my email and found a post from Amy about what you all have

been doing behind my back, you naughty people...

I honestly don't know what to say. THANK YOU, obviously, but that seems pretty

inadequate. I'm sitting here, heart all aflutter, palms sweating and mind in

shock.

It's wonderful to be getting a computer - and a Dell no less! - from Kerri and

her dad. It's wonderful to know that people are pooling to send it to me, and

that this has been a group effort. But that's not even half of what I'm

thankful for this morning.

I am thankful that I know such a caring group of people.

I am thankful that you all are such generous and thoughtful people.

I am thankful that the bonds of this group are so strong.

I am thankful to be part of this group.

I am thankful that you came, you gave of your hearts and souls and knowledge and

stayed to make this such an amazing place.

I am thankful that in this isolating world of autism, there is a place to never

feel alone.

I am thankful that when I felt most like my world had crumbled forever, I found

you people who helped me forge a new one.

I am thankful that when I feel sad, there is always a shoulder to cry on.

I am thankful that when I need to celebrate, there is always someone to

celebrate with.

I am thankful to listen and comfort someone else who's sad, and to celebrate

someone else's joys.

I am thankful every day to know that the list might have made a difference in

someone's day.

I am thankful there is a bond here so strong that when something wonderful

happens in my life, I find myself composing my post to the list about it in my

head - while it is still happening!

I am thankful to be able to call you my friends.

I am thankful that you love me the way I love you.

Thank you for all of that -- and for the computer, too!!!!

A very humble and thankful Jacquie

Jacquie,

Most of what you have listed we are thankful to you for also. After all, if

you hadn't thought to create this list, none of us would have been here!

So " Thank You Jacquie! "

Sue
