Re: spreadsheet question

The Meal planner spreadsheet has a place to enter how many meals the child

will have. Specifically the cell is H4. So you would enter 3 or 4. Then

this number gets used on row 7 where it says " Calculated Goal Per Meal " .

And the protein allowed would be divided by H4 (the number of meals). So

how would you figure in a snack if you are dividing out the amount of food

in equal amounts? I wanted him to be able to have a snack and 3 meals, not

4 equal meals a day. Would appreciate any insights!

Thanks!

Kathy

In the number of meals section (H4) put the number 7. This will

enable you to have three meals the same size and one smaller. For the

three meals double the amount. Does this make sense? Hope so...

Hope this helps.

Calculate meal plan 1 for 3 meals minus the snack calories. Go to meal plan

2 and calculate the snack. You can do more than one plan, just use a

separate workbook.

thanks !! That makes sense! I changed it to 7 and then I labeled one

of the sheets as Snack and the other sheets, I went ahead and multiplied the

meals by 2 so I wouldn't have to figure it out each time. Thanks again!!
