Lona, it is my understanding that one does not need to have a yahoo email

address in order to access the archives, files, links(bookmarks) etc. But if

you are a listowner or moderator I think you do.

Hmm. It was soooooooo easy as ONElist.. It is my understanding that you

can't view the files ect without a yahoo id?? Maybe someone here without

one can let us know. I'm never done learning, for sure!

I don't have a yahoo e-mail address and can access the files just fine. You do need a yahoo id though...but if you are subscribed to the list, you should have had to register w/ yahoo anyway...right???

members, ect. You can choose to use that yahoo ID as an add on yahoo email

address or not. If you ever want yahoo mail, your yahoo ID will work as

your user name for yahoo mail. Have I confused me yet?

I also do not have a yahoo e-mail address and can access

the files, but I do have a yahoo ID since I am subscribed

to a few sites.

Here is the story on the Yahoo id requirements. Basically if you want to access

the group and use the features from the Yahoo Website you need a Yahoo link. If

you are merely receiving email you do not need to have the link.
