Guest guest
My daughter is on a milk free version of the ketogenic diet which really limits variety. I've seen people e-mailing recipes and ideas I could use, but I need the food lists for these items. They are not on the Stanford meal list. One was pumpkin pancakes and the other was pork rhines. Does anyone have the exact allotment per 100 grams? Any other ideas will help us too. She is living on all nitrates because the leaner meats just don't contain enough fat. Just to let some of you know, she cannot tolerate any lactose what so ever. She was actually seizure free for 7 months when we took lactose away. When the seizures came back, we went to the keto diet. Her seizures actually increased tremendously! We had to take away the lactose once again. We are weaning meds and have been on the diet for about seven weeks. After finding a major miscalculation, we have been two weeks seizure free and are optimistic. I read some people's e-mail and suggest the milk free version of the di et before anyone ever gives up completely. FYI, there is also lactose in many of the medicines.
