In OK (which is not technically south, but close enough--we DO have rednecks) y'all can be singular or plural. We don't use y'uns. ===== Kim I make a difference Tulsa, OK __________________________________________________

We spent half the year here in NJ and the summers on my grandfather's farm. Many a time over the years when I was stuck up north here I would call information in Georgia and ask for a phone number just to talk to one of those friendly, angel voiced operators. As a kid it was they only way to cure my homesickness for that southern drawl I love so much. The call was free and it always made me feel a little bit better and closer to loved ones. I still miss the south. Patty BTPD NJ

And, during all my time living south of the Mason-Dixon, never have seriously heard anyone use any form other than " y'all " .
