Do you calculate the salt in? Is this a dumb

De....

The salt goes in with the ice cubes in the outer bag...... that's to help with the transferring of the coldness, like you do in a real ice cream freezer...... (does that make sense?? LOL)...... anyway, the salt doesn't get eaten. The ice cream itself is sealed inside the inner bag and doesn't get salted!
