Guest guest Posted September 7, 2003 Report Share Posted September 7, 2003 I had a port in my chest ( a surgical procedure) and it did not affect the start of chemo...in fact, the 1st port installed about a week before chemo didn't work properly so I had to have it redone about 3 hours before my first chemo. I don't want to put off my chemo. I start this Thursday. I am having the FEC combo of drugs.
