Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2001 09:16:18 -0500 Hello all, After 2.5 years, I am the closest to pain-free that I have ever been since my vulvodynia began! I did a 3 week " detox " diet which eliminated dairy, sugar, and gluten products from my diet. A homeopathic doctor prescribed a special shake to help with the cleansing process. I also have been using boric acid a few times a week, and then tried acupuncture. All this seems to have worked!!! Apparently, your liver can really help cure your vulvodynia if you give it a chance (by eliminating those foods, alcohol etc for 3 weeks) My vulvodynia was brought on by a bacterial infection and then overuse of antibiotics which totally destroyed my immune system and natural flora. Those of you that had a similar orgination of the condition might want to try the homeopathic cure!! Good luck!
