Guest guest
Some of you mentioned that you use Eucerin hydrating non-soap cleanser. I picked some up today, but was wondering if any of you have used it on your anal skin? My poor behind is so sore these days, and no matter WHAT I put on it, it seems to get irritated. Just wondering if any of you had had good or bad luck using it " back there. " Suzy, who sometimes wishes her rear end was on someone else's body. Guest guest
I use my old standby - vicks mixed with vaseline. It stings a bit at first but then starts feeling normal with no irritation. I use about 1/4 vicks with 3/4 vaseline. You need to aerate your skin for a few minutes until the fumes go away but it is my favorite remedy. I presume one of the hemorhoid creams would work also. I know there is at least one of them that contain menthol (like vicks) but they might have too much menthol. A lot of the lotions and creams for irritated skin contain menthol and/or the other ingredients in vicks. I do not use Eucerin but use the Basis cleansing bar. I think but am not sure that it is made by the same people who make Eucerin. It is the only thing I use to wash that area. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Ora. I primarily want to use the Eucerin as a cleanser in the shower. I can't use the darn hemorrhoid creams. They sting like crazy. Sigh. Thanks again. Guest guest
Hi, Joy! I haven't tried the Vitamin E oil, but I've been a loyal Kiss My Face plain olive oil soap user for years. Even that can irritate my butt! And I do keep the area very clean, at the suggestion of my colo-rectal doc. Sigh. Take care!
