Guest guest
I just purchased agave nectar at my local food coop. It was very expensive, about $5.00 for an 8 oz. bottle, but it is supposed to have a very low glycemic index. I don't use artificial sweeteners, and don't like the taste of stevia, so was pleased to find agave syrup right in my own town. For the first time in about two months, I was able to drink a cup of coffee. Is anyone else familiar with agave syrup? Do you find that it does indeed have little/no effect on bg levels? How much of it do you use and how often?
