Guest guest
How does it become " all about them, all of the time? " It's like some hideous TV show that has a 24/7 loop live-feed. Any conflict, any situation, any weather condition... somehow becomes about THEM. Currently in my family two of my mom's sibling's are in an all out email everyone " tiff " . She shared that with me yesterday. I remained neutral and didn't say much (I was on phone after a long work day and just, honestly, was staring at a plant that needed watering....). Anyway... after telling me the lo-down, she then said, " Well, *I've* always been the black sheep of the family so I guess I'll just stay there. " She then went on about how horribly 'she's' been treated. Um. Ok. If you're scratching your head about now, you're not alone. It's been bothering me for 24 hours. Just floating around in the back of my brain. Didn't interfere with work, however ;o) But I have to ask... HOW did an 'outside fight' that has NOTHING to do with her even begin to TRIGGER a bpd comment like that? I feel obligated to make that connection...sorta... won't keep me up at night but still... Anyone want to jump in and attempt to connect the dots for me or is this just simply a lesson in insanity? Lynnette
