Guest guest
HIS CONDITION HAS PROGRESSED AT A RAPID RATE AND HAS BEEN CHANGED TO ALS. Dear Bonnie, I am sorry to hear that about Don. If you mentioned that Don has ALS (not PLS) in the time I've been here, I missed it. Between different things I'm involved in and my job, the emails can get ovewhelming some days. In four years of volunteering in the patient community, I've heard a lot about diagnoses getting changed. It's hard enough when we have something rare, and even harder when different diseases look the same in the beginning. It's a tough waiting game to find out what we really have. My best to you, and bless you and your husband and grandchildren. I hope to have grandchildren someday. I worry I won't be able to enjoy them the same way I could if I could get around better, but I just hope I have some and that they live near me. best, Kathi
