Guest guest
, Great news on a great exam. I need to make my appointment. I try to go annually, but time just flew by and I need to make one. I've never tried a chiropractor. How does that help? Relax your muscles? When I finally see my neuro, I'm going to ask about acupuncture. A woman I met recently swears that her weekly acupunture helps her spasticity. thanks, Kathi
Guest guest
That is great to hear. The chiropractor helped my daughter alot - she had problems with her hips and didnt have a wide range of movement. I was really pleased. I have taken (son with epilepsy) to a chiropractor on and off since he was 9 months - but only once after being diagnosed with epilepsy. My neuro told me that she doesnt want the chiropractor adjusting Mike's spine at all and she said this many times in our short conversation. I dont think it did any harm to him as he didnt have any more seizures after the treatment or in the days to follow (it has been 4 days since the treatment). They dont do the adjustments here anymore - they just push on pressure points that are supposed to help the body take care of itself so I am not as worried as if they would be going in there and manipulating everything. I think Mike enjoyed it so we are going to keep going and see how things go. I really value my neuro's opinion but I think this might help Mike - even if it doesnt stop the seizures. He has had alot of drops and I am sure he is " out " somewhere. Thanks for the response.
