Guest guest
Bit of history here.....I have a 12 year-old daughter. Very active in sports, a runner, soccer player, ect. She is not over-weight and eats reasonably well. A doctor she has seen in the past had decided to check her cholesterol after she passed out during a family outing. The lab results showed a level of 202 when she was 10. My spouse decided to have her level checked again and the results have come back at 232. Her LDL is 158. Is there a precident for treating an athletic, child who runs a 7 minute mile for high cholesterol?
