Guest guest
Hi , I am one of the afibbers who takes both - Coumadin and CoQ-10, and as you correctly pointed out CoQ-10 possesses K properties and can reduce your protime reading - as happened in my case. For anyone introducing new vitamins / minerals etc. a good rule to follow is, starting the regimen 5 days before a p/t test that will give you an indication where you are headed. My first reaction to CoQ-10 was a more erratic strong heart beat, but because it was highly recommended, I decided to start over with a small dose without any problems. For anyone interested, CoQ-10 is found naturally in human tissue, aiding circulation, stimulating the immune system and is commonly used and recommended for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. As with many other nutrients, the amount of Q-10 present in our body declines with age. Therefore the recommendation to supplement. /
