Guest guest
I know we're all familiar with things such as liver detox, colon clensing and the like, but are there any specific programs geared towards other organs especially the Adrenals?- Charlie
Guest guest
There is the liver/gall bladder cleanse which is lemon/grapefruit juice and olive oil. For specifics go to curezone.com. Guest guest
With the adrenals, you want to use foods and supplements that support the adrenals, such as maca. Guest guest
An adrenal detox is an interesting question... What would toxify the adrenals ? What would the adrenals need to be detoxified from ? This would be of interest to me as I have had hyperadrenal problems and now I have hypoadrenal problems due to stressing out my adrenals. > > I know we're all familiar with things such as liver detox, colon > clensing and the like, but are there any specific programs geared > towards other organs especially the Adrenals?- Charlie >
Guest guest
I think WAP's approach is to eat animal adrenals to help yours. I've also read that natual salt is very good for the adrenals, as is eating protein at every meal (or is that thyroid?). Since the thyroid and adrenals affect each other, if one is having problems, you need to take care of both. The only foods I've read that may work as far as detoxing are raw apple cider vinegar, dandelion root, and zeolite, which are all-over detoxers. Fasting is also supposed to be good for the adrenals, but I think it is via the thyroid - resensitizes the organs to the thyroid hormones so the thyroid doesn't have to work as hard. Eating mostly raw foods and juicing are supposed to be good all over as well, due to the flood of enzymes that the body may have been deficient in. > > I know we're all familiar with things such as liver detox, colon > clensing and the like, but are there any specific programs geared > towards other organs especially the Adrenals?- Charlie >
Guest guest
OK, I did a search and found a site that said since the adrenals sit on top of the kidneys, doing a kidney detox will help the adrenals. Anything that contains malic acid - apples, apple juice, apple cider vinegar - is supposed to dissolve kidney stones/deposits. Raw apple cider vinegar is supposed to directly detox/cleanse the kidneys. Drinking plenty of good water is also helpful. And I stand by the salt recommendation. The kidneys get the excess salt out of the blood. Higher concentrations of salt in the kidneys can kill off some pathogens, which happened for me. I think Hulda has a kidney detox program. She sounds like a quack on the site, but I know people who swear by her programs, and you don't need to buy the things from her, she tells you what to use and how much and you can get it from anywhere. > > I know we're all familiar with things such as liver detox, colon > clensing and the like, but are there any specific programs geared > towards other organs especially the Adrenals?- Charlie >
