Guest guest
<<Just enquiring as it is said that synthetic vitamins may not be as beneficial as whole food vitamins made from whole food. And that liquid preparations are better. There are so many brands some with herbs and some with mushrooms!(eg Nature's way 'alive') Which is the best whole food multivitamin? assuming there are no sensitivites and whilst tapering the medication of the neuroleptic Abilify-. I am currently taking nature's plus multivitamin and mineral supplement for men, but would rather have a whole food multi as recommended. >> ** I am not familiar with UK products. I make the recommendations I do based on numerous years of people taking them and doing well with them. I only recommend whole food vitamins after a person is recovered for a couple of years. Whole foods supplements give low doses of nutrients. I find higher doses are more useful for recovery. <<I am also considering going to the 'brain bio clinic' in the UK even though the average charge for a years treatment may be £1000.00 upwards. They offer biochemical tests and recommend diet strategy coming off medication and are specific for 'food for the brain' but are expensive. The head of the clinic wrote a book called 'New optimum nutrition for the mind' should I go to this outpatient clinic or is it money better spent elsewhere, money I have little of. yours sincerely neama>> ** It's up to you. Many people her find they can do the same thing without all the high tech tests. I have nothing against the Brain Bio Ctr. I think it's great. I just think that all the testing is unnecessary in most cases. Good, healthy whole foods and a foundation of supplements like we recommend is more than enough for most people.
