Guest guest
Now could be just that time, as Last week I had to acknowledge the receipt of the new privacy statement for the military hospital that I use. It says that the hospital has the right to give any information regarding your health and care to different agencies regarding your health. This is something new as it use to be strictly private. The military also uses computers now, so its also possible to have a complete list of your ailments at the stroke of a key. Employers will have the option to check up on you for a multitude of options, and it may have your insurance tagged. This was always not supposed to happen, but it is going to be that way now. Insurance companies do not want to part with to many of their bucks. The military always told me that I would have free health care for life, upon retirement, but we even have to pay now. You never know how good that you have it, until its taken away. From: Z. I did have one long note that I had written regarding the privacy of medical records (I content that there is no privacy, no ability to withhold ones medical record from a potential employer, or from a government investigative agency or even a private snoop) but that is an issue which, I am sure, will arise another time.
