Guest guest
i did not manage. i have taken paracetamol with codeine- was unable to stand this roller-coaster for longer. feeling calmer now, more numb. is there anything else i could use in stressful situations? it was just up and down, up and down... we cannot avoid stress in our life, even positive situations are stressful...sometimes it may be difficult to distinguish between excitement and anxiety as both create similar responses in our body... my life is pretty restricted to work and home, i don't do much after work, as my work is enough...i need a lot of sleep and i usually restore myself when i am on my own...but sometimes the stress gets just overwhelming and interrupts my private life... i know all this will pass by and soon will be forgotten, but today things are just on top of each other. sadly in such situations all patterns come back, as if they were waiting for a weaker moment... is this what we call relapse? but isn't every relapse a lesson how to lead our life in the future? as " there are no mistakes there are only life lessons " (the principle of neuro linguistic programming)... ikam>> ** Ikam, you could have made it. You allowed yourself to become scared. You're right, it is something from which you can learn. Extract from it whatever you can that is positive. Identify at what point it fell apart for you. Then, develop a plan for the next time you are under stress. This can be a major changing point for you. That was actually an old coping mechanism you really no longer need. Remember, you are only perpetuating the way your family treated you if you do things that are only harmful and disrespectful to yourself. Ultimately, it's all okay.
