Guest guest Posted September 1, 2004 Report Share Posted September 1, 2004 Today I completed 2 weeks on Phase 1 and I officially lost 10 lbs. I've continued to go to WeightWatchers for the personal support and companionship. I can truthfully say that since starting the SB food program that I'm never hungry and haven't craved for sweets (that's a surprise). Today after the W/W mtg, several of us went out for lunch and I had a grilled burger w/swiss cheese and a big bowl of broccoli. When I told the waitress to hold the bun, she didn't even flinch so apparently lots of people do this. My two friends (both W/W members) ate the buns AND fries!!! This afternoon I celebrated with some plain yogurt sprinkled with sugarfree Crystal Light and i added some blueberries for a treat...my first fruit in 2 weeks. I plan to continue on Phase 1 for the next 2 weeks (with a little visit to Ph 2 this weekend... to have a glass or 2 of wine). I have a goal to try to achieve by the 16th when another group is going out of town for a golf outing and I'll see some friends for the first time in 8 months. I want to be down 10 more lbs, but will settle for 5. This support group has been great for me...hearing your successes and sharing recipes. (I've just watched Oprah and saw the damage that being overweight can do to our bodies/bones/organs...enough to keep me motivated forever).
