Guest guest
Hi, Just found this group. I have been taking Magnesium for about 3 weeks to augment the flecainide that I take for my newly developed A Fib of about 2 months duration. I read this article on the benefits of Magnesium for people with A-Fib and found that the article mentioned about 4 different symptoms that I was getting even though the Flecainide had the A fib basically under control. I started taking 500Mg of Magnesium twice a day and pretty much all arrythmias have disappeared. Here is the link for the article that I read. http://www.schachtercenter.com/importance_of_magnesium_to_human.htm Since I started this I found on another site that this Magnesium subject was discussed frequently and it seems many people have been helped by this. Has anyone here had similar success? http://www.afibbers.org/forum/list.php?f=2 Bob
Guest guest
Hi, I tried taking this and having all my silver fillings taken out but to no avail. However there is a blood test called the intercellular magnesium level, it was not that expensive and it should me to be at a dangerous level. Incidentally I had this done because of thyroid problems and cramp. When I told my hospital about this I was told dont be stupid as there is no test for magnesium and other things would shoe up if I was low on this. It does not answer your question but I have seen mails from other patients claiming a restbite with there AF. C UK > Hi, > > Just found this group.
