You need to go back on Phase I to rid yourself of the carb cravings. Since Phase II allows carbs, you will be further craving them. Good luck!!

Lost motivation

I went on holiday when I had to eat off plan for 10 days. I only put on 4 pounds, so I was pleased. But ever since then I have found it impossible to go back on the beach. The carbs just have had hold of me. Now, two weeks later, I thought I would come clean and say I am going to start Phase 1 again ( I mistakenly thought I could go back on Phase 2 after my holiday). Stating this publicly may help my motivation. Nuts and bread are my main downfall. So here I go again, once again with the support and help of you guys. I too just came back fr holidays with a few added lbs as

souvenirs, lol. I managed 3 days of Ph1 and then went right back to

PH2 I couldn't stay away fr Ph2. I feel your pain,lol...I would have

loved to stay on PH1 until the vacation weight went back off but my

will power wasn't there. I have been eating ph2 since the end of May

and its become so routine that I found PH1 harder this time around.

My problem is drinking the water, im not sure why this is happening

now, I was drinking 94oz for quit awhile and then slowly down to

64oz and now its just hit or miss. Get those nuts and bread out of

the house,lol!

Caroline,

My recommendation is to not think of the Beach as just a diet.

Diets are only temporary. Something like 90% of weight losers put it

all back on and then some.

Think of this as " I am adopting a new food lifestyle...nutritious and

flavorful meats, veggies, and fruits. Decadent desserts are no longer

in your vocabulary. If they are, you will only return to your past.

Personally, I tried nuts as a snack, but they're so good, I keep

going back for more. Better to avoid things you're gonna crave.

Good luck.
