Guest guest
Jim, I do not know the answer about most needing to take beta blockers with tikosyn. Maybe other tikosyn/dofetilide users can speak up about their beta blocker usage?? I was on cardizem and toprol when I first started tikosyn in Sept and the Dr cut the doseage a bit, but would not stop either for the first 3 months as precautionary measure. Since my episodes of a-fib were very short-lived and very few, mostly caused by stress or MSG, in Dec, I was allowed to stop the cardizem. In March, I was given permission to stop the toprol. Since I was on 75mg of toprol, I chose to lower the dose gradually of the toprol. Cheryl, THANKFULLY in NSR on tikosyn in NC > Do most people have to have beta blockers with Tikosyn? > > Jim in the Great Valley of California
