This was interesting, thanks for sending. I was curious because I take 100

mg of B6 every day. I have for over 4 years now. Of course I have no

neuropathy so far, but I was told by my gyn to take it for stress, PMS, to

be exact. And I can tell energy wise when I don't take it. Thanks for the

info.

but that b6 maximums should not be over 150 mg, and niacin shouldn't be

taken by anyone with a bad liver. The rest thiamine and riboflavin can be

taken in large amounts because they are water soluble and excess just goes

on through.

You're welcome - I used to sell vitamins but there is a lot of hype around with

them.

I take A (25,000 carotene) almost everyday, all the B's in a complex, with some

additional b6 since they dont' add much of that, 100 mg niacin) , 1 or 2,000 mg

c, 40 d, (did take 400 iu e but my blood is too thin anyway so had to

discontinue it) 100 mg K, 600 mg elemental magnesium (many people are deficient)

4 potassium (99 elemental potassium each) selenium, 25mg zinc. I have high

blood pressure because of drinking and overweight and salt but I'm never sick

and always have a high energy level and run up to 4 miles most days and workout.

I'm 65, so figure I must be doing something right. My wife is 54 and active

too, but has a problem taking the vitamins because they upset stomachs (both

ours) unless we take them with skim milk which helps)

I don't know the answers but I keep looking for them. <G>

Have a good one.

Thanks! I was just wondering since my doctor prescribed B6 100 mg once

a day for my carpal tunnel, and it has helped, but it hasn't done

anything for my toes though...8(
