Guest guest
I am just getting ready to start phase 1, and I have a few questions that I am unsure of. 1. What cuts of steak are considered lean? any? all? 2. Is regular hamburger considered lean meat? 3. Can I eat eggs every day for breakfast if I don't like the other suggestions? 4. If I am a VERY picky vegetable eater, can I eat most of the same vegetable on the plan? Thanks so much for any help. I feel really silly asking all of these questions Tammy

What cuts of steak are considered lean? any? all? Look for meat which has a bit of marbling in the meat. You don't want a huge amount, but if the cut is too lean it will be tough as shoeleather after you cook it. Fat on the eges can be cut away. > 2. Is regular hamburger considered lean meat? No. Regular hamburger usually has 15 -20% fat in it. It will cook out and stay in your pan. You just have to remember to drain your burgers before you eat it and don't let the extras sit in the grease. > 3. Can I eat eggs every day for breakfast if I don't like the other > suggestions? Sure!! Just be sure you've got some vegetables with the eggs. > 4. If I am a VERY picky vegetable eater, can I eat most of the same > vegetable on the plan? Look at the list of Foods to Enjoy for Phase 1 and pick from that. There are no limits on portions, especially on vegetables. > Thanks so much for any help. Guest guest
Hi Tammy, even if you don't really like veggies you'll be surprised how your tastes change when you get your system cleaned out from all those sugars. Be open minded. Try new veggies! Maureen
