Guest guest
I saw the article below today on Bob Broedel's newsletter. It might help PLSers experiencing uncontrollable/inappropriate crying or laughing. Mark Weber _______________________ I would like to let the ALS community know about a drug, Zyprexa, which was for my mother, a godsend. She has ALS and was having crying spells several times a day, some lasting for an hour or more. Zoloft was not effective. A psychiatrist put her on a small dose of Zyprexa, which is normally used to treat the emotional lability associated with schizophrenia. The results were almost immediate, and dramatic. Her crying spells occur rarely now, and when she does cry she is able to stop much more easily. I hope this helps someone. __________________________________________________
