In an earlier post someone else had written, they were questioning the

effects of Depakote and then the withdrawal from it on their child.

Your response, , made so much sense to me - " that it exerts

its action by sedating a person so the person no longer cares or is

able to respond to that which is causing the upset. " I had been on

750mg of Depakote and came off of it in 3 months (which I know was

way, way too fast.) Your reponse is leading me to think that what is

going on with me now, with the anxiety, depresion and intrusive,

obsessive thoughts, is that my body and brain are now trying to

respond in a normal fashion but don't yet know what normal is since

they were suppressed for so long. Until all of this heals and I get

to phases beyond the one I'm in now (.25mg clonazepam 3xday and 1 tsp

magnesium at night; also waiting for your special formula for me since

the Cell Food really set me off), I'm assuming this is quite normal

and I'm healing, even though many times I might feel worse. Are my

thoughts on this pretty much right on? That I could be feeling worse,

and thinking I'm getting worse, but am heading " toward the light " so

to speak?
