Guest guest
Fear can be devastating, and most all of us have had fear of a-fib, or death, or everything imaginable concerning the heart. Probably because we have only one, and can't get along very well without it, but fear of the unknown makes it even worse. Try some deep breathing exercises, maybe a warm cloth over your eyes, try to relax, think of the most fun thing that you have ever done in your life, low music is nice, try meditation and remember a trip, or plan another one in your mind. Learn to use relaxation techniques and it will make it your fear and a-fib much more bearable. Try looking at yourself in the mirror, and laugh at the figure, it might sound weird, but it may work too. We all should learn to laugh at ourselves, and never take ourselves to seriously. There are lots more things that you could do, but the first step is to recognize that there is not that much to be afraid of, and get yourself moving again.
