I like my steamer. We got it as a wedding gift. It's a nice size one,

two tiered, so we can do multiple things at once. Actually plan on

using it tonight. I'm going to have steamed fish and veggies.

Probably zucchini and maybe cabbage, with a salad.

> Mine is my food processor. :) I also now love my ice cream

maker. :) Right now I have my new dehydrator that I just put some

apples (with cinnamon and sugar twin), bananas (some with cinnamon

and sugar twin and some plain), and some grapes in there. It's my

first time using it so I have no clue what it's going to do. :) Carol

I love my steamer too. I have never used both tiers as I thought the food

flavors would mix.

I've cooked vegtables and fish in the same steamer. I thought of that

too, the smells mixing, but they didn't. In addition to the two tier

containers it comes with a smaller clear dish to set inside one of

the tiers, it has no holes so no drippings of the fish can fall

through, so that is contained. Give it a try! :)

Me too, Marilyn, except I always put the meat/fish on the bottom. Don't know why - I just do! LOL Sure is an easy meal.

One thing we really like from the steamer (even before SBD) is cabbage and turkey kielbasa. I cut up the kielbasa in 1" pieces and the cabbage in small wedges and steam away.

Love my steamer!!

I only put seasonings on the vegetables and the chicken after they are cooked.

It is one of my favorites!! I use it all summer on fresh vegetables. Yes, Polish sausage and cabbage is delicious.
