Guest guest
Hi , Firstly big hugs, try not to be too hard on yourself. In Australia we have holistic dentists which from what I understand use alternative dental practices. I have been but I didn't have any fillings - my wisdom teeth had flared and he couldn't do anything to help me until the inflammation was under control. Although in saying that he did suggest a porcelain overlay for where Ive been grinding my teeth which if you inquire might be an alternative. Perhaps you could make some enquiries with your Dental Association for Alternative Dentists in your area. Just so you know what to look for here is the website to the people I saw http://www.shdc.com.au/ and here are the ones that referred me to them as they weren't in my state http://www.holisticdentistry.com.au/david3.htm. You could even email either of these guys and share your situation with them and ask whether they can suggest an alternative practice. Another idea that come to mind. Recently I have been learning about the Tesla technology www.teslas.us <http://www.teslas.us/> . Have fitted myself and my family with personal pendants and have been feeling much more peaceful. I'm mentioning it because when I was speaking with the Gold Coast representative he shared with me that as I have amalgam fillings if I use the travel plate and run it up and down a few centimetres from my mouth I should start to taste something terrible and to keep this up for how ever long until the bad taste goes. This apparently draws out the mercury from the amalgam fillings. I'm sure you could question them about this if you email. Also I'm no expert in teeth that's for sure but I did have a cavity in the tooth in front of my wisdom tooth and it wasn't there for future check ups. So whether or not that dentist wasn't being truthful or inaccurate or it healed itself remains to be seen. I prefer to think the latter. So if worse comes to worse and you have no luck with alternative dentists and the like perhaps you could try just managing the cavities with improved oral hygiene via brushing, rinsing and nutrition? Hope this helps and good luck! _____ From: babymakesiv [mailto:jabaldwin@...] Sent: Thursday, 27 July 2006 1:39 PM Subject: Severe Dental Cavities- Need help!!! Hi Everyone, I came here Thisevening hopeing to get some opinions on my 7 year olds dental problems! We saw the dentist today for the first time in over a year and found out that he has atleast 4 cavities and one of them is very severe! It is in his 6yr molar and he has a big whole in that tooth it looks terrible! I can not believe I did not notice it before! I got the regular rundown of how you have to use floride to have healthy teeth and they want to fill it in 2 weeks with Ketac Fil. The only problem is that this stuff slowly leaks floride into the tooth to strengthen it? The dentist we saw said he would not use any thing else and I should go to see a pediatric dentist if I did not want to use floride? He said he would probably recommend a root cannal but wants to fill it and see how it goes because he is so young. Any suggestions on the use of this material in my son? Or what I can do to help strengthen his mouth and correct the cavities that he already has? I am so worried about him as he is very nervous about it all! I feel like such a bad mom! How could I let his mouth get this bad when I know how important healthy teeth are! I am just so shocked that he has any cavities at all. If anyone knows any good dentists in land I would like to get a second opinion! Many thanks for the sugestions! Feel free to email me instead of the list as we are heading on vacation soon! Guest guest
Hi , I am so sorry to hear about your son's severe cavities. I took my daughter to her dentist in May for check up and they told me that she has cavity. My husband doubted the opinion as my daughter is very diligent in brushing her deeth twice a day, and we seeked for another opinions. It turned out that the second dentist did not see any cavities after looking into the x rays. I encourage you to seek another opinions. Guest guest
The single best thing I have found for my teeth is cutting out the refined and improperly prepared grains and sweeteners. Second best would be 2-4 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil every day. Third would be shrimp, oysters, clams, and other shellfish. Fourth would be butter oil. In general, organ meats are better than muscle meat, and raw or lightly cooked is better than overcooked. take a look around at www.westonaprice.org. mike > > Hi Everyone, I came here Thisevening hopeing to get some opinions > on my 7 year olds dental problems! Guest guest
Before I start, I'll have to also say that fruit really almost ruined mt teeth. It just doesn't have the mineral content necessary to build the skeleton, unless you're a chimp or something smaller, IMO. I used to have to brush my teeth several times a day, immediately after I ate, and floss religiously, just to keep from having Major tooth sensitivity. After making the changes above, and avoiding veggies and fruits except on occasion, except for coconut oil, things have been different. My teeth are almost never sore now, and I brush maybe once a day, several hours after I eat. I floss maybe 1-2 times a week, and my teeth are whiter and stronger than when I was doing the fruit and greens thing, or any other diet I've tried. mike > > > > The single best thing I have found for my teeth is cutting out the > > refined and improperly prepared grains and sweeteners. Guest guest
it's true I only eat shellfish maybe twice a week at most. Lately, though, I've been including a good bit of lard, which I eat with dried salmon eggs. It's quite tasty. My daily diet is mostly coconut oil, fish eggs + lard, and raw goat milk/cheese. I've been eating a little liver lately as well. I don't mean to give the wrong impression with the domain name of my email address. Iv'e had that one for 3 years now, since I was fruitarian/raw vegan. mike > ...After making the changes above, and avoiding veggies and > > fruits except on occasion, except for coconut oil, things have been > > different... > > mike, > Wait a second, I thought you only eat shrimp occasionally? > > If you're only eating vegetables and fruit on occasion-- > then what are you eating regularly?
