Guest guest
Hi Kel and Pam: The radiologist that did my HSG would not let me see the screen or give me any results at the time of the test. I was scared to death, thinking I had a problem. It took a couple of days for my doctor to get the report after that. I was chomping at the bit! Every lab has different rules about that kind of thing, and this one was really strict...also possible the doctor was just an a**. Just be prepared. I am a very assertive person, and all my assertiveness did not help me one whit with this situation except getting DH in with me when they told him to wait in the waiting room. I let them know right away that that was not going to happen. LOL Take care,
Guest guest
Okay, I'm back. The radiologist was great. He was so nice. The procedure they did was different than last year. They use a tube and a balloon. It hurt like anything when they put the balloon in. Luckily after they removed the balloon which was only like a minute I felt nothing. I didn't even feel the dye going in my tubes. I just feel a little icky now. But nothing major. They wouldn't let my dh in but I could see the monitor. After the procedure he went over the x- rays with my dh and I. They were similar to last year. The dye went up my left tube but didn't spill out. Dye went up my right tube and spilled out. Although he said it didn't spill out like they like it to. He felt maybe there is scaring or something. He also said he could see something on the right tube which he thinks was from the ep. I asked him were since I was treated with metho I have never known were my ep was. He said it was at the top. I was all set for IVF. Now maybe my problem is just with the fimbria. I guess I will have to wait for my dr appt on the 26th. Pam
Guest guest
Pam, I'm glad to hear that things went well with the HSG, sorry it was sore though!(YUCK) It is good news though that you have an open tube to work with, and I am sure that since the other tube is only blocked right at the end, they could quite easily fix that with minor surgery? Let us know how the doc. app. on the 26th. goes, o.k.? In the mean time, I'm glad you're o.k. Take care sonja HSG results Okay, I'm back. The radiologist was great. He was so nice. Guest guest
Treasa: I am so sorry that today was not good, glad that you had JoAnn to lean on. That dr. needs to be kicked where the sun doesn't shine for only being concerned about his money. You have every right to be angry. We're here if you need us. Take care and your in my thoughts and prayers.

Guest guest
Treasa, I'm so sorry things did not go well. Perhaps you can consider a lap like just had. That seemed to do the trick for her. Your doc's bedside manner sounds like it stinks, I know you've had a hard time with docs lately, maybe it's time for an RE. Don't give up hope! Guest guest
Treasa, I am sorry to hear your news. Is your dr going to meet with you and give you a game plan? I can't believe he can leave you hanging like that. That is so insensitive. Is he going to do a lap? I think 's HSG showed blockage then she had the lap and her tube is clear.
