Guest guest
I got the same email and replied to him with a nasty note. Don't take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would your life, for without them life is meaningless. This has helped thousands of diabetics! Dear Deanna, With your permission, I'd like to take a minute of your time to tell you about a natural product that has helped literally thousands of diabetics normalize their blood sugar and start living normal lives. If you plan to ever live a normal life, free of diabetes, it's up to you and only you to open your mind, stop listening to the naysayers that refuse to try anything unless it's prescribed by a doctor and most importantly, don't allow other people to make up your mind for you. Guest guest
I looked last night but could not find this person's name. It was getting late so I needed to go to bed. I'm going to do some more checking today. Caution. When you receive spam, it is my understanding that we should not reply to it. Replying to it adds our email address to other spammer's list. When I receive this type of email and I receive several every day, I forward them to AOL to report scam and to block the address. Guest guest
Anyone can go to Yahoo and search the topic " diabetes " and choose this group and/or the many others and see the members list. It is a Yahoo ability. The spam is from someone researching through Yahoo. a

Guest guest
I can't find him as a member, if anyone has the original email with his email address please send it to us. I didn't get the email myself. My suggestion is to put this person on your blocked list if you can, you may not get another note from him. We do try to keep spammers from sending anything to the list selling products. If they do, they are warned that it isn't allowed. Most of the time that stops them, they either didn't realize it and don't send anything else or they quit. If they send anything else they are removed. Guest guest
Deanna, I got the same thing. Someone from a company got on the list and possibly got all our names or purchased our names from Yahoo. I just took a quick glance and pushed it aside Steve L. Guest guest
Actually you can. This is how spam mail gets past all the road block and you really do not know where it came from. There is a way to change the senders name and email address, but place a company address for contacts. I usually get 50 - 100 spam emails at work a day. I have set up an automated delete looking for the words, unsubscribe, not want, ect. I have found that after awhile, they will even change the statement to unsubscribe to, if you opt to stop receiving. It's pretty much insane. The best thing to do is delete it and move on, if he gets no bites then he is just wasting his time and money Steve L. Sails Call M25 Southern California This has helped thousands of diabetics! Guest guest
It's possible to make the member list viewable only by members or moderators. Otherwise, anyone can see the member lists. Also, anyone can have more than one email address. They can join the list with one address and use the other address to send the spam. Or, someone could be sending the info (or selling it even) to someone else. Another possibility is to report it to the FTC using UCE@... (which is Unsolicited Commercial Email @ Federal Trade Commission dot GOVernment). If you have a yahoo ID that shows you are a Washington State Resident and they use the list to send Email they may be breaking Washington state law by sending Unsoliceted Commercial Email (SPAM) to a KNOWN Washington resident. Check other states for laws, I believe California recently enacted a similar law. --- Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
I've blocked him on my email now - he sent me an email taking me to task about pointing out that there is no University of Vancouver.
