Guest guest
Hi, sorry to write so many emails, but I think this is important, though a little off topic. I've been researching healing my endometriosis. It seems to me the best way to go, ideally, would be herbs. However, since my body is not in an ideal condition...from the drugs, I need your advice. I've researched the herbs that are recommended. A couple of them have phytoestrogens in them. Would this possibly make be further unstable? This is the basic recipe I've found in a few places on the internet: are you familiar with the herbs...do you think they are safe for my mental stability? 1 teaspoon each vitex berries, echinacea root, wild yam rhizome and cramp bark ½ teaspoon each horsetail stalks, red raspberry and motherwort 1 quart water Combine herbs and water in an uncovered pot and bring to a boil. Turn down the heat and let simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and steep for 15 minutes. Strain out herbs. Drink at least 2 cups daily. This formula can also be taken as a tincture or in capsules Any advice would be welcome. If you feel that this would not be safe I'll look into other alternatives. thanks, (and, oh...I went to a nasty gynecologist who threatened me with hysterectomy if I didn't take her nasty pharmaceutical hormones. I went home crying. The pain keeps getting worse. She really scared me--there is no risk of my taking those hormones though) ** At this point in your condition, I wouldn't touch herbs. Remember, NO doctor can tell you what to do with your body. When youencounter one who thinks they can, run, don't walk, to the nearest exit and tell him/her you will not be seeing him/her again due to the lack of interest in YOUR particular desires. --C
