I think they were right. When I was prescribed for glasses, years ago, an old man advised me " Never use your glasses to read a book or newspaper and you will never need them to " . Years later, I still take off my glasses to read, and though I am near-sighted, I can easily read books or computer or newspaper WITHOUT glasses. All my contemporaries (who never needed glasses to see, at distance) now need Reading Glasses to read. ..
Guest guest
My definition of Myopia: Having eyes trained to see 2D in a 3D world. Its the equivalent of using an extremely low aperature on your 35MM camera. Without depth of field, the world might as well be 2D. I'd have to say though - being a computer geek... That Vitamin A seems to be more nessicary for those who have to function in the modern 2D, but still want to be able to view full 3D. I " lost " a lot of depth from my vision when I got to my teens. Never got glasses since my eyes were exceptional, and degraded to " normal " . I've got that exceptional vision back now after fixing my Vitamin A status. -Lana On 2/18/07, Chaelcon@... <Chaelcon@...> wrote: > > Growing up, I remember kids sitting very close to (that tiny) TV screen > and > being told that it " would make you near sighted " for you to sit so close. > I > think they were right. Guest guest
I got the Vitamin A that was extracted from CLO and I was taking about 10,000 IU/day. I'm up to about 30,000 IU now, but the eyes were better back on the 10,000 IU/day. -Lana>> How's your liver? What's your skin color? Are you turning slightly yellowish or orange? Guest guest
I am confused by your questions here. She is taking vitamin A from CLO not beta carotene. Or am I missing something? Guest guest
I think its time for the generic lesson of beta carotene does not equal " Vitamin A " . It is a common misconception perpetuated by the food labeling laws that allow beta carotene to be labeled as " Vitamin A " . The fact is, beta-carotene takes a lot of effort to convert into A, and you do lose some of it along the way, in addition to the possibility of becoming orange tinted. That's why I take preformed, natural A from cod liver oil. It doesn't have those side effects. As for my liver, it is doing far better than it was before I started to take the A. That's where you keep your vitamin A reserves, and I'm pretty sure mine were fairly depleted. -Lana On 2/19/07, <rstump@...> wrote: > > I am confused by your questions here. Of the fat soluble, I take with a Fish Oil each day: vit A, D, E, K, and also Bilberry and Lutein.
