Dear ,

<<I forgot to mention in my last post that I am having chest pains. They

only last for a couple of minutes, and don't feel really intense.

They are not associated with panic. I don't know if they are

occurring because I am aware of how dangerous the Propranolol is, or

if this is serious. I don't focus on them. Should I have my heart

looked at? (I'm in Canada so it doesn't cost anything.)>>

** , I suppose you could have it checked out. But I'd also try to

eliminate other causes like if you recently did a reduction in a benzodiazepine.

This is a symptom familiar to people during reductions especially if the

reduction is a little too big or too soon.

<<I had my first B12 shot today, and nothing much seemed to happen,

except that colours seem slightly brighter now (could be my

imagination though.) Is there much point in getting these shots weekly

if they don't have any obvious positive effect? The naturopath said I

was a little low in B12, but according to my GP I was fine (not that I

trust a word out of his mouth.) The lab results they are using are

from January of this year. >>

** Well, if even 1 person says it's a little low, them it's probably a

little low. People need to stop looking for " obvious positive effects " from

nutrients. B12 is a necessary nutrient. It can't hurt to have it. Besides, you

just got it. People are too used to the big effects of drugs. These big effects

are most often adverse effects but it trains people to expect this.

You cannot expect to make up for months or years of a toxic substance in a

day or even a few months.

<<After I had the B12 shot, not a single drop of blood appeared. A

while back I cut myself, and almost no blood appeared either. Is this

because of the Propranolol? Is this indicative of something serious?

My next cut of Propranolol starts tomorrow.>>

** People don't necessarily bleed from shots especially if the shot was

administered correctly.

<<I am still constantly hungry. I take Now Super Enzymes (I have

switched from Puritan's Pride due to availability.) I usually take

two with meals. The other day I was so hungry I ate half a tub of

fake Cool Whip (yes I know how bad this is, and this is not a regular

occurrence.) Needless to say it upset my stomach very badly.

However, it did make me feel full, which is very rare. Is there

anything I can eat that will make me feel full? Should I get a

different multi enzyme? My diet consists predominantly of cooked

veggies, meats, oatmeal, some fruit (berries and bananas), warm or

boiled water, apple cider, and occasionally yogurt and cheese. >>

** So why didn't you choose a real food to overeat?

More fat in a diet will help with hunger. Do you use any extra virgin

olive oil?

<<Sorry this is so long, and thanks for your help.

Take care,

Meds:

Propranolol: 10mg in afternoon, 15mg in evening

Ativan: .25mg plus one eighth of .5mg in afternoon, .25mg in evening

Valium: 5mg
