Guest guest
<<Dear catherine, a few weeks ago you so kindly gave me some advice regards olanzapine reduction, i wasnt at the time too consistantly rational and chose to come off this medication [against your advice] too soon, you then advised me to resume the dosage which i declined. It has been a bumpy ride but with the help of fish oil and b complex supplements i do feel better, more clearer thought, slightly less anxious and less tired. Iam still taking 200mg a day of zoloft but recently ive been having constant dull headaches and more worryingly ive been hearing voices {in my head, not outside of it,im not schizophenic--thank god] this has happened late at night in bed. My phyciatrist is not duly concerned and says that at least 10% of the population experience this. He then went on to say if i felt ready i could come off the zoloft by reducing the dose down to 150mg per day. This seems a big drop all in one go, after the experience of the last few weeks i dont want to mess up again. I owe you an apology for not respecting your advice previously but i would appreciate some more guidance as i have no trust in my phyciatrist. Also is the fish oil/b vitamins/zoloft/zyprexa withdrawal to blame for the headaches and voices and will they just pass? Once again sorry for doubting your advice when youv'e taken time to give it Thanks jeff>> * , I'd wait for the voices to go away before beginning this next reduction. This is called a rebound from the way you came off the antipsychotic. No apology necessary. Regards,
