Hi Debra,

Welcome to the group. WOW, Monday? It's right around the corner. You will

be in my prayers on Monday. My surgery is schedule for Friday, so I'll be

right behind you. Congratulations on your surgery date. Please let us know

how you are doing.

My best to you!

Jackie from Southern CA :-)

You're not talking to yourself. We're here.

Chat rooms scare me. I can't do them. I don't see many of us using it. WE chat

HERE. LOL!

Counting the hours till surgery

Hello Everyone....

My name is Debra and I'm in New Jersey.

Been looking at this site for a few weeks now. Still confussed about

how to navigate ....isn't anyone EVER in the chat room? Am I doing

something wrong...because when I click on chat...it puts me in this

room and I just sit there all by myself :(

Wondering if I'm doing anything wrong, why isn't anyone ever in there?

I'm counting down my surgery now ...It this coming Monday at 7:30am

I received a call from the hospital today telling me to be there at

5:30 am. Guess I should be relieved that surgery is early.

Been told to take chapstick with me....anything else that will help

with my hospital stay.

I can currently only put very little weight on my right foot due to a

previous surgery and am using either one crutch or a cane....and I'm

hoping I will be able to walk with either right after surgery. Any

comment about that??????

I feel like I'm rambling on and on....nerves??? YEP... I will need to

stay very busy. Sunday at 10 in the morning I have to do that drink

that cleans you out made by fleet..and was told to not leave the

house after that. Geez... sounds like fun.

ANY helpful hints...would be greatfully appreciated...and

keep me in your thoughts Monday.

Peace and good wishes to all :)

Debra

Debra,

Thanks for letting us get to know you. We are always excited for those

having SX; it reminds us of our day. Try not to be nervous~you know you made

the right decision; it's not easy, but it will be worth it!

Debra, I remember those " count down " days pre-op. I know your scared, worried,

anxious, all kinds of emotions wrapped up into one! You have a great surgery day

though, it's my Brithday Monday! I wish you the best of luck and hope for you a

speedy recovery..Annee

HI Debra and welcome and seldom does anyone go to chat we usually just use

the board but I guess we should go there sometimes since we are missing

great people like yourself .

I was a 5:30 arrival to hospital and surgery at 7:30 so it will move

quickly so enjoy today and stay busy and eat something you really love that

you won't be able to eat after surgery and you will be in our prayers and do

you have an angel ?

Hi Debra, I just wanted to let you know I will be thinking of you on

Monday. It's easier said than done, but try and enjoy this weekend.

Before you know it you will be joining me on the " losing side " .

Congrats and take care. Hugs,
