Good Morning!

This has been a most interesting conversation to read! Not that my beloved

needs MORE libido , but I am interested in this salt/c protocol.

And what do you mean about the torso and fertility? My husband adn I have

been trying for 2 years...and no one has shown up. So I am always keeping my

eyes open for fertility information.

Thank you!

They claim that the waist-to-hip ratio in women is an indicator of

fertility with women having a smaller waist in some proportion to

their hips being the most fertile, which is why small waist/larger

hips are such a turn-on to men (subconciously).

The salt/c protocol is for lyme disease, which by some complicated

biological process that I have to keep looking up again to explain

kills lyme and the co-infections of lyme disease by osmotic shock.

There are some remarkable success stories from people on it; some

have gotten out of wheelchairs and are living normal lives now.

Anyways, the higher salt is good for managing the amount of HCL in

the stomach for improved digestion and the vitamin C is a catalyst

for many enzymes that do good all over the body. Together they

strengthen the bond between cells in the body, among other things.

Interesting things aside from healing lyme are coming up like

hormones are balanced again, skin conditions clearing up, etc...

Can't say I know much about fertility. In my family we get pregnant

from dirty thoughts! My mom was told you can't get pregnant while

breastfeeding. So I came along, 10 months after my sister was

born. Boy was she PO'ed at her doctor! My doctor told me I

couldn't conceive while nursing, but my son was conceived the same

month we decided to try.

HellO!

Thanks for taking the time to share about the waist to hip ratio! I am a

27-36...where are my babies!?!?!?!? :-)

For the salt...are you adding it to food? Or taking it like medicine? (ugh)

And what type of Vitamin C are you taking?

I also have a friend that can get pregnant with a LOOK from her husband! She

is always joking that she is sharing her " fertility vibes " wiht me...but nothing

so far!

Thanks again!

Isn't the issue really about wider hips? I mean I know that the

hip-to-waist ratio is just the inverse of the waist-to-hip ratio so as

one gets bigger the other gets smaller, but it seems to me that your

hips are what make room for all your reproductive gear, which develop

pretty early on, and that if you were to meaningfully change the ratio

to benefit fertility it would have to be by widening the hips.

Unless a small waist is an indicator of something important hormonally

that I'm not taking into account.

You could buy a next to nothing little black dress, very high heels and plan

to wear them New Years Eve, make sure it is a little more money than you would

normally pay for a dress... The best laid plans

Good luck

I mix 1/2 tsp powdered ascorbic acid with 1/4 tsp baking soda (good

brand) in water then add some citrus juice like OJ or grapefruit

juice. Adding the baking soda makes sodium ascorbate and carbon

dioxide (fizz). I take 1/2 tsp salt (Redmond RealSalt) and wash it

down with the drink. Was doing it 4X a day or more when the lyme

was active, but it's hardly there anymore, I've pretty much got my

health back so now I only do it once a day. They say the lyme can

stay in the body in a dormant form for years and get reactivated by

stress or illness, so better safe than sorry! Plus, I'm always

getting ticks from being outdoors and the pets.

It's important to note, the protocol is to work up gradually to the

full dose of between 12 and 20 grams a day (depending on your body

weight), increasing a gram a week to give your body time to adjust

to the increase in salt & die-offs from parasites and lyme which can

make you sick if you have them. 1 tsp is about 5 grams. You can

read all about it at

www.health./group/lymestrategies. Go to the links

section and it has the instructions.

Have you heard the Aborigine saying that babies choose to be born to

their parents, knowing the life they will live? Maybe there are

just too many fighting over you two. :)

people I know.

I don't know what posts Steph is talking about, but since my name got

brought up, I might as well ask what I was thinking of asking before:

Can I see? :-)

Well I recall reading about a study that found that worldwide, men

universally preferred a waist to hip ratio of as low as 0.6. 27/36 is 0.75.

It seems to me that the amount of fat on the hips (and around the waist)

would mess up the ratio...that is, as mentioned, the ratio is

desirable because it signifies that there's lots of room for a baby in

there and that has more to do with bone structure, size, and location.

You could be obese and maybe still have that ratio (although more fat

would fill in around the waist I think). So I guess the qualification

would be 0.6 but assuming an " optimal " body weight.

Are you saying I'm.....FAT??????? :-(

Just kidding! I had gained a little bit of weight since my husband and i

married two years ago. I weighed 84 pounds when we wed, and now I am a plump

100!

Calling me " obese " ....grrrrrrrrrr ;-)

What is your vitamin A intake? Do you take cod liver oil? I'm sure

there's much more to it than that, but vitamin A is essential for

fertility, for both the man and woman.
