Guest guest
Fresca is a diet drink, in that no sugar. Diet soda drinks are okay in moderation, do no real harm...some find the gas upsets them or the citric acid in them....water much healthier..... I drink very little diet fizz now and feel much better for it. Guest guest
It is my understanding that it was originally developed because, with the early artificial sweetners, they could not make a 'Diet 7Up' that tasted right. Similarly 'Tab' was developed because the early artificial sweetners wouldn't work with Coke. Re: Fresca Fresca is a diet drink. Guest guest
> There is no such thing as diet fresca as fresca is a diet > drink already. How much more diet can you get? Amy Is something sweetened with sugar considered diet ? In some other countries Fresca is sweetened with sugar. From the Coca-Cola website: http://www2.coca-cola.com/brands/brands_fresca.html " Sold in countries throughout Africa, Europe, North America and Latin America, Fresca is sweetend with sugar in some parts of the world. Guest guest
In UK, we can't get fresca anymore. However, one of our leading supermarkets Tesco, sell low sugar lemonade, that has 15 kcals per 330mls can and has little sugar in it. It is considered a diet drink and I tried it once last year, it tasted foul, and did nothing to my bg level, but tasted foul. So I guess a diet drink can have sugar in it.... Guest guest
Here in the US, Minute Maid (part of Coke) makes a diet Lemonade. It's not too bad. In UK, we can't get fresca anymore.
