Guest guest
Yea, I just started today, and I want to weigh myself? But I don't know, it's probably not accurate, since its that wonderful time of the month
Guest guest
--Yep!! With the monthly period you can always expect some major water retention.Try increasing your intake of water and water type veggies just to keep retention at bay. Not much one can do about that little ditty(the bane of our female existence and then the other whammy hits ya(perio meno pause and meno pause!LOL) In South-Beach-Diet-Getting-It-Right , " Sheri " <kevnsheri@c...> wrote: > I am just getting a bit frustrated. Guest guest
Well, maybe after that time I will start losing again. I am stuck at 9 pounds. I would rather be stuck at 10 lbs so at least it would be two digits LOL. Thanks for the info, Sheri > > I am just getting a bit frustrated. On the first day of the diet I > > lost 4 lbs. I sort of feel like on SB you shouldn't even count what you lose while detoxing. It's mostly water and I think it sets people (it did me at least) up with unrealistic expectations about the rest of the diet. I lost 6 or 7 pounds in week 1 and then I've lost pretty much a pound a week since (although there was a weekend I cheated and didn't really lose the following week). I'm OK with that so long as it continues. The only thing I mind at this point (now that the diet doesn't feel like a diet anymore) is when the scale goes up without some obvious cheat. Guest guest
Sheri, I always gained 3-5 pounds the week before my periods, and lost it during the week after.
