Guest guest
Drugs.com Offers Pictorial Identification Guide for Pills Drugs.com has launched a Visual Pill Identifier and Drug Image Library. You can get to it by using the " Pill Identifier " tab at the top of the page at http://www.drugs.com . The identifier has a wizard that walks you through a series of questions. You provide various pill information, including pill form (tablet or capsule) and shape. You then provide pill color and imprint (imprint is optional and does not have to be complete - - searching for an imprint of m found Cataflam, which has the entire name imprinted on it.) Search results include a picture of the pill (most pills had images of both the front and the back, but others had just ones side imaged), generic and brand names of the drug, strength, imprint (if any), and manufacturer. Both the generic and brand names are hyperlinked to more information. The wizard was easy to follow and the pictures were large enough that it'd be easy to make a clear identification of pills with them. My only concern is that a count is not provided with the results; if you search for round blue pills, you're given page after page of results with no clear idea of how many there are.
