Guest guest
I watched it and cried through some of it. It was informative and interesting to watch though. I'm going to try to watch it every week if I can. Sharon
Guest guest
Pam: I saw that show's preview commercials on TV but was afraid to watch it...I knew Baby Story was one where they don't show things going wrong (except for women having to have c-sections instead of vaginal births) but I was afraid that things might be more traumatic in that show. I was wondering what it was all about.
Guest guest
When does this show come on?
Guest guest
I better not watch that show then. I have seen those commercials for the trauma and real life ER shows and they looked intense...that maternity ward show looked like it was cut from the same cloth as far as the commercials were concerned. If the fictional ER bothers me I don't think I better watch anything that is " real life " that is that intense. Sometimes I have trouble with a Baby Story and I know those always end happily. Guest guest
Pam, I watched that on Monday from 12 pm to 2am. It was so good. Yes it was extremely emotional for the woman that had IVF 7 times. When they called to give her the bad news that she wasn't pregnant I cried. Guest guest
Pam, I'm doing good. How are you? We have put off ttc. I have found that I'm just not ready yet for the emotional rollercoaster. Do you know if this show is going to be on on a regular basis? I found it very interesting. There isn't much that can shock me. I've been through two emergency deliveries so it doesn't really bother me to watch this program. It actually gives me some insite as to what all happens since I was, for the most part, out of it during delivery. Stacey G. maternity ward >Stacey G. > >I started crying to. Guest guest
I saw that show and absolutely loved it! There was one line in that show that really hit home for me and I know all of us here can appreciate it too. Someone said (quoting loosely), " Don't take your fertility for granted. " My whole outlook on that subject has changed dramatically. I was really fascinated by the c-section part since I was on the receiving end of one back in 97. Now I know what goes on. I can now associate a visual with the strange tuggings I felt. I hope this show makes it to their prime time lineup along with Paramedics and Trauma, Life in the ER. (I'm wondering if I should have gone into the medical profession or became a Paramedic/FF...) Take care, L
