I¹ve read that one possible source of panic if you do too much is that you can forget that you took anything...

Gene, the informant says his stoner friends would take a bong hit and disappear for about thirty seconds. the informant was too reserved to try it himself, but is curious by nature and " liked to watch " . actually observed the friends conversing with wood fairies out in the forest. heh. tb

Guest guest
, you need to read some Eckankar books such as this one http://www.amazon.com/Stories-Past-Lives-Dreams-Travel/dp/1570431914/ ref=sr_1_3/104-2011948-2614336?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1183321405 & sr=8-3 I have read about similar experiences to yours. > The thing that was unusual about my experience was that I was there, > somewhere around 1900, with my 1976 waking consciousness - like a time > warp. Hi Carolyn, I think I read Twitchell's book " Eckankar: The Key to Secret Worlds " back around 1972 sometime. According to wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eckankar Twitchell, who founded Eckankar in 1965, previously studied under Kirpal Singh. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirpal_Singh I became a vegetarian for about 6 months, in preparation for joining Kirpal Singh's group sometime around 1972, but I ended up joining a different sound current meditation group instead and gave up the vegetarianism (which was not attractive to me anyway). I find it interesting that most of Kirpal Singh's work is available on the internet for free, as he did not believe in copyrighting his material or profiting from it: http://www.ruhanisatsangusa.org/books.htm I have more respect for those who give information freely than for those who profit from it. That's what I like about NN
