You can have carrots in Phase 2, but not Phase 1. Just think how good that first one will taste on day 15! LOL

Carrots are fine! They are part of the South Beach Diet update... they are

allowed now! Yippee!!

Just so you know, the newest update on carrots are they ARE allowed Phase 2 and 3....and i believe there is no limit. hey found the GI is not as bad as previously believed. Also in Phase 2 a 4 oz banana is now allowed.

There's been an update - carrots are now OK in Ph 1.

oops, typo alert! I meant, carrots are allowed in Phase 2, not 1. Sorry.
