Hi Carole,

Losing more weight should not cause you to get lows. Are you still on meds?

If so, you probably need to eat more often. That is what I had to do for

about 2 months before I discontinued my meds.

This is the first time I've gotten a low since I've been off meds, and it was

my fault. I should have eaten before we left the house.

Hugs

Hi Carole,

I really don't think you will have any problems even if you lose more weight.

This is what my schedule is like.

Before breakfast, I'll have a couple cups of coffee with fat-free milk.

Around 10:30-11:00, I'll have breakfast and coffee with breakfast.

Lunch is between 2:30 and 3:30.

Sometimes I may have a small snack between breakfast and lunch.

Sometimes a snack around 5:00-5:30.

Dinner between 7:30-8:30.

I drink lots of hot green or herbal tea throughout the day and evening.

Hi Eunice - no meds so far, just diet and exercise. Right now, I don't have

to worry about whether I eat or not as usually I am higher than I want to

be.

It actually sounds negative to lose more weight and then have to worry about

lows. I find that scarey.

Thanks for the info, Eunice. Thinking about it, my morning coffee with

Splenda and Half and Half sends my BGs up quite a bit but for a short period

of time. I don't eat regular meals and don't want to have to. I do try and

eat a hardy meal about 10:30-11am which usually holds me to dinner.

Guess I am just a worry wart.

Thanks again

Carole
