Guest guest
Hi everyone!! My name is and I live in Illinois. Lately I've been feeling really " blah " so I've made an appointment with the Doctor for next wed. This AM my sugar was 137...two hours later is was 113....after eating dinner it was 167. Is that good or bad? I can' find a chart online to show me what my sugar is supposed to be. I am overweight by 100 pounds, I urinate all the time, I have blurred vision, my feet are numb sometimes, and I've lost approx 10 pounds in the last month. HELP! Thanks,

Does anyone have a meal plan they depend on? Where can i find some recipes to eat healthlier. How many carbs are you allowed per day? Sorry about all the wuestions, Just trying to feel better. Guest guest
A great place for recipes is pattys pointed recipes on Yahoo groups. It is basically a Weight watchers list but a lot of the recipes are diabetic. I believe the list owner maybe diabetic. Though they ask you don't repost the recipes to another list. My hmo recommends 2-3 carb serving per meal/snack if you are trying to loose weight. A little higher if trying to maintain. Denyse Re: newbie & a question.. Guest guest
Here is the starting point the dietitian suggested I use 45 carbs for breakfast 45 carbs for lunch and 45 carbs for dinner. 15 carbs for a snack between breakfast and lunch and 15 carb snack between lunch and dinner and 15 carb snack between dinner and bedtime. Test 2 hours after meals test in the morning and test before going to bed. blood sugar should be between 70 and 150. I test and make a note of how many carbs contributed to the result so that I can keep track. Re: newbie & a question.. Thank you all for such a warm welcome and all the help.
